How to Print Floor Plans using Floor Plan Mapper
Floor Plan Mapper provides the ability to create high resolution prints of interactive floor plans. Interactive office floor plans can often be very crowded with information. Especially once employees, desk, office amenities and colored department areas are added to the flor plan. At times, printing or creating a PDF with all the floor plan details can be tricky.

Follow this step by step guide to create high resolution printouts of office floor plans from Floor Plan Mapper.
Time needed: 5 minutes
- Switch to interactive print view.
Click the blue ellipsis button at the top right of the screen and select “Print View”

- Set the area to print.
Using the zoom tool, zoom in or out to the area of the floor plan to print. Once the area to print is correct, pan the floor plan (by clicking your mouse and dragging) so the upper left of the floor plan is in the top left of the screen.
Ignore the white space to the right and the bottom of the floor plan. This is by design.
- Adjust label size and marker options.
Resize the labels as desired using the “Label Size” picker. Check the optional “Display Markers” checkbox to show desks, employees, amenities and meeting room icons. Tip: If the markers display too large, contact your Floor Plan Mapper Admin user and have them adjust the default marker size set in the Floor Plan Mapper Administrator settings pane. Check the optional “Display Desk Numbers” checkbox to add the desk numbers labels.

- Create a PDF or send to a printer.
Click the blue “Print Map ” button to open the print preview and options page:

- Set the page size and scale options to maximize the print output.
Select a Tabloid Landscape page size. Or, if a large format printer is available, select a “D” paper size. Set the margins option to “None.” Set the scale to “Custom.” Using the scale percentage picker, increase the scale size until the floor plan image fills the preview pane on the left.

Click “Save” or “Print” to continue. - Review printed output.
